Welcome Tattoo is located in the heart of Durham, North Carolina. Known for high standards, experienced artists, and an intentional approach, Welcome is a trusted destination for tattoos across the Triangle.

Founded in 2019, Welcome Tattoo is artist-owned and community-driven. We focus on quality, professionalism, and a respectful client experience. Whether you're after bold traditional, fine line, black and grey, large-scale, Japanese, or something fully custom, our crew brings range and technical precision.

We take walk-ins when we can. Just call the shop to see what’s possible that day. And every Saturday, we go all in. Walk-In Saturday is a long-standing Welcome tradition. Sign-up starts at 10 AM. Doors open at 11. First come, first served until 7 PM. Flash or custom.

Scheduled or spontaneous, Welcome Tattoo keeps the bar high. We’ve built something solid, and we stand by it.

Morgan Grimm

Morgan Grimm is the co-owner of Welcome Tattoo with Kohen Meyers. Since 2019, she’s helped shape the shop into a space that respects the craft, supports working artists, and holds a high standard—always. With a sharp eye for creative direction and a background in community-driven work, Morgan brings purpose to everything from the artist lineup to the atmosphere. She also runs The Patchwork Market, a long-standing event that highlights independent makers and strengthens Durham’s creative scene. Whether it’s through the shop or the market, Morgan builds spaces that matter.

Mark Woody

Mark Woody keeps the front of house at Welcome Tattoo running smooth. He’s the point person for scheduling, client communication, and making sure the day-to-day stays on track. From first inquiry to final check-in, Mark handles the details so artists can stay focused and clients feel taken care of. He brings clear communication, a calm presence, and a real appreciation for the work being done in the shop. As a longtime tattoo collector, Mark understands the process from the client side and knows how important it is to get it right from the start. Whether you're booking your first tattoo or your next one, he’s here to make the experience seamless.

Kohen Meyers

Kohen Meyers, a Durham, North Carolina native, brings 15 years of tattooing experience to his craft. A graduate of Durham School of the Arts in 2007, Kohen transformed his passion for art into a career, creating distinctive designs for each client while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. When he’s not tattooing, you can find Kohen enjoying a meal at one of Durham’s favorite restaurants, catching a film at the Carolina Theatre, playing video games, or spending time with his dogs.

David Victor

With 16 years of tattooing experience, David Victor honed his craft in Atlanta, Georgia, where he grew up immersed in art and creativity. Captivated by tattooing from a young age, David’s years in high-volume street shops shaped his exceptional skill and adaptability. Known for his dynamic large-scale designs featuring bold imagery and fluid movement, David is dedicated to creating impactful custom tattoos while building lasting relationships with his clients in the Durham community.

Megan Corbally

Megan is a dedicated tattoo artist with three years of experience, specializing in bright, colorful traditional designs with a modern twist. Her approach blends time-honored techniques with innovative styles, creating unique and striking tattoos. Each piece is a personal expression, tailored to bring each client’s vision to life. Committed to evolving her craft, Megan shares her art with those who appreciate a fresh take on traditional aesthetics.

Abby Notwe

Abby is a Micronesian-American tattooer whose work began in early 2022 after a lifetime love for art and tattoos. She grew up in North Carolina before starting to learn the ropes within the queer tattooing scene of Los Angeles. Abby specializes in fine line and illustrative black and grey but has an adaptable eye and is keen to explore all styles. As an artist, her priority is creating a safe and comfortable environment that sparks moments of whimsical joy for people from all walks of life. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, weightlifting, crafting, and learning about new music.
